What makes a year worth remembering?
For us, it's the moment when things click. When a strategist sees their industry's next shift before competitors do.
When a risk manager catches a threat early enough to actually respond.
Or when an innovation lead finally finds the signal they've been searching for in all the noise. These moments happened more often in 2025, not just because the platform evolved, but because more teams trusted it to do what manual research cannot: process millions of sources to surface what actually matters.
Series A: $7M to go further
This year marked a major milestone: Trendtracker turned six and secured a $7M Series A round, led by Armilar with participation from Capricorn Partners. Six years in, this funding is a strong signal that the catefory we are building—and the way we are building it—has real, global demand.
To Armilar and Capricorn Partners: thank you for believing our vision. As Pedro from Armilar put it, you're supporting us in building something with global reach. And that confidence pushes us forward.
This funding allows us to deepen our presence in the US and the Middle East, accelerate our AI roadmap, and grow the team so we can ship faster and support more strategy, risk, and innovation teams worldwide.

How far we scaled in 2025
This year, our platform grew from 13,000 to 18,000+ sources and now tracks 460 million articles., so teams can see shifts in their markets earlier. We did not add sources just to hit a number; we deliberately expanded coverage to the markets, regions, and emerging spaces that matter most to our costumers. Every new source was grounded in a real need, not a vanity metric.
That focus showed up in adoption: we doubled our customer base, adding new users across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, spanning 10 different industries.
Listening first, building second
We spent a lot of time in 2025 listening to your feedback—from workshops and user interviews to events and conversations with partners, strategists, and industry experts. Three priorities became clear:
- Automation and on-demand: Insights, trends, and deliverables must be automated and available when you need them, not weeks later.
- Deep personalization: Insights need to be conversational and tailored to your context and geography.
- Easier to use: Trendtracker must become simpler and more intuitive to navigate.
We launched and are working on several features to achieve these goals:
- Our all-new Agent, “AI Assistant”, creates and edits Trend Radars and Horizon Scans for you. It now takes minutes to go from a strategy brief to a draft that you can shape with your team. Under pressure? Use ready-to-use templates and suggested prompts to get there even faster.
- Create new or custom trends on-demand with AI Assistant. With this additional use-case, you can quickly evaluate weak signals and emerging trends with metrics and news. Then, you can tailor trends to your specific needs and use cases.

- Better localisation in Trend Boards and Discover (including AI Analyst, Startups, Trend Pages, and News).

- Get to trends within your Boards even faster with an all-new sidebar, quick access to search, and new filters and sorting options.
In the first months of 2026, we’re making a few changes that should fundamentally change how your Trend Board feels to use. Instead of just looking at charts, you’ll be able to ask questions and move from insight to output much faster.
- Chat with your personal AI Analyst. Ask specific questions and follow-ups, and get non-generic, tailored insights.

- An interactive, use-case-focused personal briefing that serves as your Trend Board’s Summary, cutting the clutter and surfacing timely, relevant insights and updates so you can spot what changed in a few seconds.
- Export Insights from Trend Boards into AI-Powered slides and deep research reports, plus many improvements for exporting specific metrics and insights to Excel.

- Full control over your company and project context. Create and edit these contexts for better trend recommendations and strategic insights.
- Compare multiple trends and view them in new visualisations such as heatmaps, bubble charts, and pie charts.
- AI Assistant will automate more of your strategic workflows with new use cases, such as scouting weak signals and competitive intelligence.
- All-new Browse Mode in Discover with recommended taxonomies as you explore, so you can uncover better trends faster and decide what to track next.

Going where strategists need us
Those conversations didn't just happen on calls; they happened in rooms from Hartford to Singapore. In 2025, Trendtracker moved well beyond Belgium as the US journey began and our presence in Asia grew, meeting strategists working on challenges worth solving.

One standout moment: our new Managing Director US spoke in the closing session of Insurtech America in Hartford, the insurance capital of the world, home to 200,000+ insurance professionals. What was planned as a five-minute talk turned into ten minutes of real conversation about how AI is changing strategic research, and those extra minutes mattered.
We also showed up at Insurance Innovators Summit London, ITC Vegas, Insurtech Insights Asia, and Venture Café, meeting innovators, partners, and clients as we brought AI-powered strategic intellligence to industry conferences and executives boardrooms. At each event, we heard similar validation: teams recognized that Trendtracker solves exactly the problem they face—cutting through noise so they can decide faster and with more confidence.
The Trendtracker team is growing
That momentum showed up not just at events, but in who joined us. Our team grew by around 100%, bringing fresh perspectives and skills to help us scale. We’ve strengthened our customer success and professional services team with data analysts, foresight experts, and strategy consultants.

Together, they are working closely with clients to make Trendtracker the cornerstone of AI-powered strategy, innovation, risk management, and foresight—systematically turning insights from millions of data points into strategic priorities and initiatives that drive business results.
We also welcomed new colleagues in product, engineering, and sales to lay the foundations needed to support our global expansion. And we're still hiring for 2026 to keep up with the momentum. Explore our open roles at trendtracker.ai/careers.
New partners in the journey
This year’s expansion attracted a new wave of heavyweight partners: global insurers and financial institutions, leading pharma and life‑science companies, major industrial and manufacturing groups, food and beverage leaders, an energy grid operator, an EU research institution, and top‑tier strategy consultancies. These are organizations that only bet on tools they trust with their most strategic decisions—and their choice to work with Trendtracker is a clear signal that AI-powered strategic intelligence is becoming a critical part of how they steer the future.
Shaping the future together
The problem we are solving is specific: decision-makers are overwhelmed by noise, and our job is to cut through it so teams can move faster and decide better.
As Pedro from Armilar put it when announcing our funding: "Trendtracker is bringing much-needed clarity to a world where decision-makers are overwhelmed by noise."

But what's next in 2026?
The Series A funding powers us into our next chapter:
- Expand deeper into the US and Middle East with on-the-ground presence and new strategic partnerships.
- Advance our AI Analyst architecture with multi-agent systems that can map complex environments and recommend strategic actions teams can actually take.
- Scale our hybrid team with senior talent in AI, foresight, engineering, and commercial leadership.
Beyond that, strengthening integrations with consulting firms, strategy platforms, and enterprise partners.
In parallel, our 2026 Megashifts series launches soon. It's a deep dive into the forces reshaping industries this year, creating tools for risk managers and innovation leads navigating what's next.
If that sounds like the kind of challenge you want to be part of, we're hiring!
